Pd Nanoparticle Adsorption ZnO Nanorods for Enhancing Photodetector UV-Sensing Performance

Ultraviolet (UV) detection is an important index, as UV rays can cause skin diseases in humans. To enhance the performance of photodetectors, we fabricated palladium nanoparticles(Pd NPs) modified ZnO nanorods. The surface morphology observed by using transmission electron microscopy and microscopy. crystal structure analysed X-ray diffraction. optical property investigated photoluminescence spectra. I dark Pd/ZnO samples was 5.05 × 10 -8 2.24 xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">-9 A when a 1 V bias applied. On other hand, xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">photo 2.56 xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">-6 4.38 sample illuminated light (365 nm). current ratio /I for 50.8 1960, respectively. enhanced Pd NPs produce strong electric field after absorbed via localised plasmon resonance effect.
